For as long as I have lived in the Ottawa Valley, Arnprior has always had either a marina or full-service marine store. When I moved here in 1987, I met Brian Davis at Madawaska Marina. He later introduced me to Mark Baskin at Port of Call Marina and I worked for Mark as a mechanic for three years from 1988-1990. As it turns out, Brian also worked at Port of Call Marina prior to purchasing Madawaska Marina.
Eventually the Davis family sold the Marina property and moved their store out to the highway in Arnprior. After closing the store in Arnprior, Brian once again worked for us here at Port of Call and also a few years at Arnprior Sportland prior to retiring. Sportland became Urban and now Urban has moved their operations to Calabogie but Port of Call Marina is still close by on the Ottawa River and we welcome your service. We are a full service marina offering winter boat storage, repairs, rentals, docking and custom dock manufacturing.
Port of Call Marina is conveniently located only 20 minutes from Arnprior at the end of Vances Side Road. We are on the Ottawa River where a water test can assure you that reparis are completed properly.
